PolyStation

PolyStation Community Guidelines

  1. Every contribution is valuable – No one perspective is more important than another; all voices matter.
  2. Respect for backgrounds and personal stories – We engage with empathy, recognising that everyone brings unique experiences.
  3. Listen with curiosity and an open mind – We seek to understand, not to debate or convince.
  4. A space for thought experimentation – Poly Station is a place to freely explore ideas.
  5. Speak without judgement – We contribute in ways that foster learning and connection, avoiding language that makes others feel inadequate.
  6. Avoid rigid labels – We resist boxing people into fixed identities, embracing fluidity and self-definition.
  7. Honour change and growth – People evolve, and we respect everyone’s capacity for transformation.
  8. Accept conversational flow – When discussions reach an impasse due to differing views, we acknowledge it and move on.
  9. Inclusive for all – Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, sexual identity or relationship style.
  10. This is not therapy – Poly Station is a space for discussion, learning and community, not a substitute for professional mental health support. While some may find participation reflective or healing, our conversations are not facilitated as therapy sessions.

If anything feels off for you during an event, please talk to a facilitator or email hello@polystation.org. Your comfort and safety matter.
